Though we try to maintain a full range of stock at all times, during periods of high demand we may need to wait for the order to be dispatched from the producer, this can take up to eight weeks. We will keep you informed of progress throughout.
Orders will be dispatched within 2-3 days of purchase. Orders received before midday may be dispatched the same working day.
Certain items over £150 are subject to free shipping within the U.K. Additional courier fees apply to international deliveries, and your location in the world will affect delivery times from the point of order.
Please note that the recipient of any item is liable for all local customs and taxes. We are not responsible for any mistakes made by customer in providing the shipping address. Under these circumstances orders will be redispatched once full shipping costs, and correct address have been received.
On applicable items prices show on the website are inclusive of Value Added Tax as set by UK HMRC guidelines which is the current standard rate.
Postage costs are also subject to VAT and will be included at checkout.
We are proud to use the very best in Hot Foil technology having purchased our machine from Metallic Elephant. Metallic Elephant, led by Karl French, is now the only manufacturer of hand-built hot foil machines in the UK.
The placing of initials onto your item is called ‘de-bossing’ and we use a set of brass blocks inserted into the machine to do this. The blocks are pressed into your item at a temperature of 90 degrees + for a matter of seconds to give the desired results. We take great care to ensure the placement of the personalisation is just right and as such we decide where on your gift the initials or date will appear.
Blind De-bossing – we use this on Italian leather where the gold and silver don’t always take fully.
Gold / Silver – works well on nappa and embossed leather.
You can select from initials, words up to 6-8 characters depending on the space or a date. It is not possible to add sentences.
To add personalisation, check the option on the product page when ordering and type your message in the text box.
If a mistake is made in specifying what you would like printed we will try and help you out. However this may not always be possible as your item may have already started to be created based on your original order. Please contact us as soon as possible to see if your item has already been created especially for you.
We have a 7-10 day turnaround for personalised gifts, if you need it before then please let us know at the time of ordering.
At this time the machine we use is not able to support the personalisation of larger items to the standard we would like therefor only the items stated here can be personalised.
Returns & Refunds
To request a return, please email email@example.com, using the subject matter ‘returns’, and quoting your order number in the body of the email, informing us of the reason why you would like to return your order. To exchange an item, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, using the subject matter ‘exchange’, and including your order number in the body of the email. Please specify the new size you require; we will then be able to confirm whether the exchange can be arranged or not. Please note that the new size you require may not be in stock and will therefor be subject to manufacture timescales.
If you’re not entirely satisfied with your purchase from Arthur Williams Collection you can return it within 14 days of receipt. Your items must be unused, in the same condition as you received them and be in the original packaging to be eligible for a refund.
Your shipping and or delivery paperwork may be required for a refund.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund, or offer a partial refund if we have reasonable grounds to believe the item returned is used, damaged or not in the same condition as delivered.
Once we receive your returned items we will inspect them and let you know in good time the status of your refund.
Should the returned items fulfil the refund criteria, the amount in the refund status email will be credited to the card used for the original purchase. This refund will be completed within 5 working days depending on the payment processor and card issuer’s policies.
You will be responsible for all shipping costs incurred returning your items and these will be non-refundable. Should a full or partial refund be issued the shipping costs will be deducted.
For international returns all the same conditions set above apply, however items may be returned up to 28 days after the date of purchase. In order to avoid further Customs charges, when returning items to the UK from outside the EU, please ensure that you include the original tracking number on the parcel and that the Customs Declaration shows the items are being returned.
