Long winter days in Television ….

Looking forward to 2018,

I always find the winter months quiet within the Television industry. This is generally because the weather conditions tend to not lend themselves too well to filming and after having done a lot of work over the proceeding summer months, we watch our hard work play out whilst everyone is wrapped up at home watching our shows. The Sport side of things is also busier over summer.

With the rest of the year so busy I find this period usually gives me time to do things I haven’t had a chance to do (life admin) but its also a great time to get developing new ideas for shows.

However, saying that, it’s not the case this year! In a weeks’ time I’ll be traveling off to the Singapore Airshow to work once again with Embraer hosting their corporate presence in Asia. I really enjoyed this job last time in Paris and I can’t wait to get back into it. I’ve also never stayed in Singapore. I’ve only ever transited through so hopefully ill have the opportunity to have a look around!

Then in March I”ll be heading back out to Asia but this time South Korea to help present Channel4’s coverage of the Winter Games. Its amazing how quickly the games seem to come round. I remember presenting the Winter Para’s 4 years ago in Sochi and thinking we had to wait a lifetime until we got the chance to do it all again!

Whilst all this is going on I’m hoping my series ‘Flying across Britain with Arthur Williams’ that we filmed over the summer months last year will of been shown – I can’t wait for you to see it.

After that we’ll be well into summer and I’m sure lining up the next exciting challenges. Ill keep you posted.
